| Hi Everyone!
This is one random and personal post considering I haven’t posted here in awhile. However, I always intend to post here more often AND I am all about being audaciously authentic…so here goes! : ) I just ran across this study regarding couples and #4 caught my eye. And if you knew more about my life right now….geese louise, you’d know why I am fascinated with couples at the moment! : ) 4. Do you and your spouse sleep in separate bedrooms? |

| Yes | (13%) | |
| No | (87%) | |
| A recent National Sleep Foundation study said one in four American couples sleep in separate bedrooms. The National Association of Homebuilders predicts 60 percent of custom-built homes will have two master suites by 2015.
Anyhow…my point! I totally get this!! Uninterrupted sleep is important and I do not I believe that I need to sleep with another human on a regular basis to have real intimacy. I have, for years now, been saying how important it feels to me that when I live with someone again that I would like to have (at least separate bedrooms and BETTER YET) separate wings within the same home. I just really enjoy my space that much!!! AND I enjoy the companionship of living with someone as well. My friend Anne says and I agree, ‘Sometimes I don’t even want to hear another human breathe.’ I really LOVE my alone time. AND I love the opportunity to come together with a lover in a delightful common space as well. It is still a very new concept for me and it feels SO RIGHT! Although the percentages in the above study show that it isn’t very popular at the moment, the comment by the National Association of Homebuilders predicts that this is changing. Cool…I am not alone and more folks like me are waking up…to sleeping alone!!! : ) |
